About Jill

Jill Nowak, MSW, LICSW, is an independently licensed clinical social worker and the director of admissions and referral liaison for McLean Hospital’s 3East residential DBT program, which treats adolescents and young adults struggling with emotion dysregulation, depression, trauma, and self-endangering behaviors.

After completing her graduate study, Ms. Nowak went on to work with children and adolescents struggling with PTSD, piquing her interest in assessing and treating vulnerable youth using evidence-based, compassionate care approaches.

Her current role as director of admissions merges her interests and expertise in clinical assessment and motivational interviewing, with specific attention to helping patients build commitment to treatment with the goal of optimizing treatment results.

In addition, Ms. Nowak is a practitioner of Katonah Yoga and a 500-hour certified yoga instructor with years of public teaching experience. She has dedicated many years to the study and practice of Ayurveda, training under senior practitioners who belong to the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
