Tackling Addiction With Mental Health in Mind
Addiction rarely exists in isolation. Mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder often intersect with substance use, complicating diagnosis and treatment. This training explores how clinicians, caregivers, and communities can address both sides of the equation to support recovery and long-term well-being.
Why This Training Matters
Substance use and mental health conditions often reinforce one another, creating complex challenges. Integrated care models are key to improving outcomes for individuals with co-occurring disorders, and clinicians, caregivers, and communities benefit from learning strategies that address the whole person.
