Education Content Specialist, Education Outreach at McLean Hospital

About Emma

Raised by a clinical social worker and a librarian, Emma Longsjo grew up appreciating the importance of both mental health care and access to reliable information about mental health conditions. A graduate of Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, she combines these values with her psychology education and skills in digital content to bring a passion for mental health awareness to her work.

Since first joining the Deconstructing Stigma team as a student intern, Longsjo has worked on a variety of projects, from physical displays to virtual education courses. In her current role, as an education content specialist, Longsjo continues to work across the team’s efforts—from virtual trainings, to social media, to working closely with the volunteers in our anti-stigma campaign, and more.
